Last week, the average price for loose tomatoes increased to 1.664 euros per kilogram, while the average price for vine tomatoes also saw a slight rise, reaching 1.337 euros. In contrast, cucumber prices have been consistently above the five-year average. For several weeks now, cucumber prices have also exceeded last year’s levels, with the average price for week 8 standing at 67.6 euro cents per unit.
Cabbage lettuce, however, continues to have a low average price, maintaining this trend throughout the year. For week 8, the unit price was 31 euro cents.
